We are pleased to be able to offer a small number of places for a visit to
Heydukova Kindergarten in Bratislava. The kindergarten (usually closed during the summer) are opening their doors to our delegates for a visit on Monday 25th August, 9:30 – 11:30.
During the visit, delegates will be offered a tour of the setting, observe children and talk to the practitioners. Places are limited to 40 (two groups of 20 people). Tickets, offered at a small charge, must be booked via the form on ExOrdo. All the money from the ticket sale will be sent to the setting post-visit.
Ticket holders are asked to meet outside the Faculty of Arts building (Comenius University Bratislava, Gondova 2, 811 02 Bratislava, Slovakia) at 9:15am on the day, in order to walk together with the conference volunteers to the kindergarten for a 9:30am start.
Meeting point & time:
- 09:15 – in front of the Aula of Comenius University (Šafárikovo námestie 6, Bratislava, right next to the Faculty of Arts building).
Program:
- 09:15 – Dr. Hitková will meet you at the Aula and guide the group to Kindergarten Heydukova https://maps.app.goo.gl/GMegUVChnjBDxf4JA
- 09:30–09:40 – Welcome by the Headmistress, opening remarks.
- 09:40–10:10 – Group 1 (20 participants) observes classroom activities with children; Group 2 meets with the inclusive education team.
- 10:10–10:40 – Groups switch activities.
- 10:40–11:00 – Tour of the premises.
- 11:00–11:20 – Q&A session with the Headmistress, school psychologist, and speech therapist.
- 11:20–11:30 – Farewell and return to Comenius University Aula, accompanied by Dr. Hitková.
- From 12:00 – Conference registration at the Aula.
